Privacy policy

Who this covers

This policy applies to ETF Mining Solution and to this website. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

There are two ways information reaches us.

The contact form. When you send an enquiry we collect the name, email address and subject you provide, your company name and message if you choose to enter them, and the country your request came from. Nothing on this site asks for payment details, identity documents or any sensitive information, and you should not send those through the form.

Ordinary server logs. Our host records the usual technical details of a web request, including IP address, timestamp, the page requested and your browser's user agent. These are kept for security and troubleshooting.

Abuse prevention. When you submit the form we briefly store a one-way hash of your IP address. We use it only to count repeat submissions from the same connection so the form cannot be flooded. It is not a stored IP address, we cannot reverse it to identify you or your location, and it is erased automatically one hour after your enquiry. The enquiry itself is kept; the hash is not.

Why we collect it

We use enquiry details only to answer you and to carry on the conversation that follows. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to send marketing you have not asked for.

Where it is stored

This site runs on Cloudflare. Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare database provisioned in the Oceania region, and page requests are served through Cloudflare's global network, which means a request may be handled by a server outside Australia. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under its own data protection terms.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device or browser, and does not track you across other websites. We cannot identify you from it.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking technology.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are commercially relevant and then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. If you ask us to delete your enquiry we will do so, unless we are required to keep it by law.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is seen by the people at ETF Mining Solution who need to answer it, and by Cloudflare as the provider that stores and serves this site. We do not share it with anyone else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
